Serving Clients in New York and Pennsylvania
Ethics
Section 1210.1 of the Joint Rules of the New York State Appellate Division (22 NYCRR §1210.1)
requires that attorneys practicing in New York State post conspicuously in their offices the
Statement of Client's Rights. A similar informational statement, the Statement of Client's
Responsibilities, has been adopted by the NY State Bar Association. Pennsylvania has no
equivalent requirement. To best inform all of our clients, we ask all prospective clients
to review the Statement of Client's Rights and Statement of Client's Responsibilities posted
on the website of the New York State Unified Court System.
